Captains and squads

Outlook India reports that Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Shashank Singh and T Natarajan are named in India’s squad under Krunal Pandya, with Tripathi listed as the wicketkeeper.

Pakistan’s squad is captained by Abbas Afridi and includes Khawaja Nafay as wicketkeeper. A squad is not a playing XI, so the final combinations are not known.

Elsewhere on Friday, India’s cricketers in New Zealand are scheduled to play the fourth T20I of the New Zealand vs India T20I Series 2026 at 12:30 PM IST, with the fifth on Sunday, 1 November.
