Pratika Rawal has reached a career-best 21st place among ODI batters in the ICC’s latest rankings, lifted seven places to a rating of 598 by her unbeaten 100 off 96 balls in the first ODI against Zimbabwe Women in Vadodara. It was her third ODI hundred.

India Women’s captain Smriti Mandhana moves the other way, slipping to second after scores of 32 and zero in the first two matches. South Africa Women’s Laura Wolvaardt takes back the No.1 spot.

Who moved where

Wolvaardt returns to the top of the ODI batting list for the first time since November 2025, in what the ICC release counts as her ninth separate stint at No.1.

Harmanpreet Kaur gained two places to eighth after making 126 off 121 balls in the second ODI. Deepti Sharma rose four places to 23rd among batters for her 86-ball 106 in the same match. Her five wickets across the two games also took her to eighth among bowlers and fourth among all-rounders.

In the bowling table, Kranti Gaud is up two places to 25th among ODI bowlers.

T20I rankings

Mandhana’s ODI dip is partly offset in the T20I list. After the T20I series against Zimbabwe, she rose to fourth among batters, while Shafali Verma moved up to third.

The series and what’s next

India Women won the first ODI of the Zimbabwe Women tour of India, 2026 by 9 wickets on 23 October, reaching 200/1 in 27.1 overs against Zimbabwe Women’s 197. They took the second ODI by 121 runs on 25 October, making 328/6 in 50 overs and bowling Zimbabwe Women out for 207 in 48.5 overs.

That left India Women 2-0 up in the three-match series after the 25 October match, a lead the ICC release calls unassailable. The third match is on Wednesday, 28 October at 2:00 PM IST.

India Women’s next fixtures after that are against South Africa Women, starting on Wednesday, 9 December at 1:30 PM IST.
