Rishabh Pant returns to Delhi Capitals in IPL trade for Kuldeep
Delhi Capitals have brought back their former captain Rishabh Pant from Lucknow Super Giants, with left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav moving in the opposite direction. It is one of only two trades completed since the 2026 season ended, and Delhi Capitals were involved in both, Tribune India reports.
The Natarajan trade
In the other deal, Delhi Capitals sent fast bowler T Natarajan to Sunrisers Hyderabad in exchange for leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari.
How the trade window works
Under IPL rules, the trading window stays open until a week before the auction and reopens after the auction, so further moves between franchises remain possible. The deals come ahead of IPL 2027.
