Fixtures (times in IST)
About the series
India's tour of New Zealand ends with two Tests counting towards the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27: the Basin Reserve in Wellington (19-23 November) and Hagley Oval in Christchurch (27 November – 1 December). Shubman Gill leads India.
Play starts at 3:30 AM IST, so Indian fans will be following overnight. Both venues have a history of helping seam and swing, particularly on the first morning, which makes the toss and the new-ball spells key.
WTC points make these two matches important for both sides' hopes of reaching the final.
