Smriti Mandhana’s India Women face Zimbabwe in 2nd ODI on Sunday
India Women, led by Smriti Mandhana, take on Zimbabwe Women in the second ODI of the Zimbabwe Women tour of India 2026/27 at BCA Stadium in Vadodara on Sunday, 25 October 2026. A local listing gives the start as 2:00 PM IST.
India go into the game 1-0 up in the three-match ODI series after a nine-wicket win in the opener on 23 October. The second match is a day-night, 50-over contest.
How the first ODI went
Zimbabwe Women were bowled out for 197 in 49.5 overs in the opener. Shree Charani returned career-best figures of 4/23, and Kranti Gaud took three wickets.
India Women reached 200/1 in 27.1 overs. Shafali Verma finished unbeaten on 64 from 33 deliveries.
It was the first ODI ever played between the two women’s sides, and the first ODI for Smriti Mandhana as India’s full-time captain.
Recent form
India Women have won all four matches of the tour so far. They took the three T20Is on 16, 18 and 20 October by 4 wickets, 9 wickets and 92 runs respectively, then added the ODI win on 23 October.
Before the tour, India Women beat Sri Lanka Women by 72 runs in a T20I at the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 on 13 September.
